CASology Week #214; Muse Challenge Week #182; SSS Flickr Challenge #53

Hi there, crafty friends ~

For the past few days, I've been busy in my craft room creating cards for a few challenges ~

My first card is for this week's CASology Challenge for the cue card: Beach

I've had this Lil'Inkers flip flop die for a while, so I thought it would be fun to use it for this challenge. I used distress inks to create the sand and water, and created the enamel dots with Nuvo Crystal Drops...Fun!

Anita Bowden created a beautiful birthday card for this week's challenge at Muse...here is my take on her card:

I used my new MFT big balloons stencil with pastel inks, just as she did. The camouflage die cut is from Mama Elephant, and the stamped 'happy' is SSS.

SSS Flickr Challenge this week is Anything Goes. Here is my card:

Another brand new goodie (too bad Darnell's challenge is closed)...I finally ordered this fabulous Jingle Snowflake die, so I used silver foil cardstock for the snowflakes and silver embossing powder on the stamped sentiment to jazz it up! Some soft ink blending in the background and a few sequins, and that was it :)

As always, I want to thank you so much for stopping by! Your sweet comments mean so much to me! Have a great week ahead ~

Three wonderfully CAS cards, Barb. Your flip-flops card is so cute, and perfect for the sweet sentiment. I love the colours you used on your balloon card, great take on my card with the inlaid sentiment. The balloon stencil is great isn't it? I just had to have it! And your last card is so simple yet striking, the gentle blend of blue is perfect.
Thanks so much for playing along at Muse this week, Anita x

What wonderful cards, Barb. I love that silver music/snowflake die and the blue inking behind was the perfect touch. The colors of the balloons are yummy and so is the inked seashore. You have such a light touch with Distress Inks that I envy.

Beautiful cards -- from beach to snow! Flip flops are always fun (I kinda live in mine), and the soft inking behind your musical panel is just wonderful!

Oh what prettiness! Even though I am very much ready for fall, your flip flop card is absolutely adorable! I love the beach and water! The balloons are lovely! So pretty how you layered them over each other! And then the musical snowflakes! Yes! Bring on the winter and Christmas stuff! That is beautiful! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

I just love a post chock full of cards, and you do not disappoint. Love all three of these cards--fantastic CAS beach scene--I feel right at home there. Love those beautiful enormous stencilled balloons--I've got to check out that stencil, and your silvery and shimmery musical christmas card is both whimsical and elegant.

Barb, you have been a busy gal. Your beach scene with the flip flops is perfect and makes me long for a day on the sand. Maybe in October when I head west again, I can talk my Dad into a beach day. It might still be warm enough. Your take on the Muse card is FABULOUS, it is definitely your own, but embodies the wonderfulness of Anita's card. Lastly your music in silver on that soft blush of blue...well its wintery and sublime. Love them all Barb...time was well spent crafting.

Fantastic cards, Barb! The sentiment on your first card fits perfectly, and that birthday die cut is great for camouflaging! You sure do know how to work your elements together well! That icy blue third card just gives me shivers (in a good way)!

A belated catch-up on your gallery, and how wonderful to see a lovely beach scene as the opening! We're a far cry from beach or flip-flop weather here, of late! Fall has 'fallen'...cold and rainy! Good thing I have your cards to bring sunshine! Your balloon and camouflaged die: so pretty! The silver snowflakes against the soft blue: gorgeous!
