Addicted to Stamps & More Challenge #168

Hello there blog friends ~
It's time for another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and our theme is 'Holiday'! Our sponsor is Deedee's Digi's and they are offering a $15.00 coupon to their store for the winner!

I recently bought two Christmas stamp sets from Dee's Artsy Impressions, and used both sets for my card:

I think this smiling Santa and Rudolph are so cute. So, I colored them with Copics, and added the sky using This Template by JJ Bolton for the clouds.

So, that's it for me...Come on over and check out all the beautiful inspiration by my teamies, and join in the fun at Addicted to Stamps Blog

Thanks so much for stopping by,

CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #146

Hi all ~If you're looking for my post for this week's challenge at Addicted to CAS, scroll down or click HERE

I'm back with another really quick post to share a card I created for this week's challenge at CAS(E) This Sketch:

As soon as I saw the sketch, I thought of PTI's One Liners. I started by stamping the stripes (Mama Elephant Basic Borders), then die cut the word Peace, and used the Avery Elle Holiday Fill in the Blank stamp set for the rest of the sentiment. The Poinsettia is from the brand new Hero Arts Color Layering Dimensional Bird stamp set. Lastly, I just added the silver border, and a few PTI Rainstones...and that was it! Here is a close up of the die cut word:

Thanks to Loll, I would like to also enter this card into the current Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge for the theme, Poinsettia.

So, that's it! Hope you're having a great weekend...Thanks so much for stopping by,

Addicted to CAS Challenge #75

Hi there blog friends ~
It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, and as you can see, our Code Word is 'Spooky'...Just in time for Halloween! Our Hostess for this challenge is the oh, so sweet and talented Ceal, and our Guest Designer is the amazing Joyce, who created a really fabulous card for us!
Also, Sweet Pea Stamps is sponsoring the challenge, and offering four digi's from the store to the lucky winner!

I created 2 cards...Here is my first card:

I'm not sure if my kitty is so 'spooky', but I found him in the Silhouette Store, and couldn't resist his cuteness! So, I colored the eyes and nose with Copics, then stenciled the background, and added a few gems and a sentiment from Mama Elephant.

Here is my 2nd card:

The images and banner are from last years' Halloween release from Mama Elephant. I used traditional colors of orange and purple, but thought it would be fun to add bright lime green for the background.

I hope you'll take a few minutes to visit the Addicted to CAS Blog to see what my team mates have created for this challenge, and please join us...we would love to see your cards in the gallery!
Thanks so much for stopping by...Have a great weekend ~

SSS Flickr Challenge; Muse Card Challenge; Stamplorations

Hello there, crafty friends ~
I have a quick post to share 2 cards...One is for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge (Fallin' for Fall) and the Muse Card Challenge #138, and the other for Stamplorations Fall Flowers Linky Party

Anita Bowden created this gorgeous card for this week's Muse Challenge:

I love everything about this card...The beautiful basket of flowers and polka dot background, and gorgeous sentiment. I didn't want to CASE Anita's card literally, so I decided to go with a Thanksgiving theme:

I used my new SSS Stitched Pumpkin dies and inked them and the Penny Black sentiment with Brusho's, then stamped the polka dot background with Avery Elle's Texture Tiles.

How lucky can a girl get? Well, I was really lucky to receive this gorgeous stamp set called 'Friends and Flowers' from the creator, Deepti, and inked it up within hours! (Thank you again, Deepti) Here is my 2nd card:

I stamped the barrel and flowers with Archival ink, and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I mistakenly placed the panel onto the card base with foam tape, then realized that I didn't include the sentiment...I was afraid I wouldn't get a clean impression, so I stamped only the large portion of it...Yikes!

So, that's it for me...Thanks so much for stopping by,
